Sam came recommended to us and we couldn't be happier. Finding a DJ for our wedding was one of the more stressful bookings since music is such a personal thing and it's very difficult to cater to every guest at every event. There are too many "DJs" out there who simply plug in their laptop and play whatever THEY like best, and we needed someone who could read a crowd and play to their mood..and in our case, different cultures and their tastes too. Sam is exactly what we needed. He's the kind of professional DJ you just don't see anymore -- someone who knows the catalogue inside and out and for every moment of the evening he has a song for whatever is happening. His MC skills are out of this world as well, and he impressed everyone at our wedding by working the crowd and bringing everyone on to the dance floor together. We were beyond impressed with both his technical abilities and his personality. If you're reading this and you haven't made up your mind yet, do yourself a favour and at least call him. Sam from Unique Sounds Professional DJ Services, did an amazing job at our Persian Engagement ceremony. He created a great atmosphere during the ceremony that was both informative to our guests who were not familiar with the custom, and at the same time made it very warm and personal to us.
Sam went above and beyond in creating a custom ceremony that reflected the both of us and our love.
Sam was very easy to work with and all of our guests praised his ability to manage the ceremony as the MC as well as keep the crowd engaged and all ways dancing. He was able to blend a great selection of Persian, Bollywood and Top 40 which we loved.
Sam was very approachable from the first moment we spoke to him, he put us at ease and ensured that we felt comfortable and excited for the special day.

DJ Siamak (Sam) from Unique Sounds was one of the highlights of our wedding. We had a 130 person Persian-Canadian mixed wedding, and Siamak did a spectacular job at catering to all guests. The dance floor was always busy, and everyone was repeatedly praising how amazing of a DJ he was. After our first dance, Siamak was able to bring EVERYONE (Persian, Canadian, young, and old) onto the dance floor and start the party right. He was excellent at keeping everything on time, and he adapted to last minute changes seamlessly.
Leading up to the wedding, Siamak was incredibly great at communicating and reassuring us of what he will be doing. He played all the songs we requested, and was able to create a set-list that the bride and I, as well as all of our guests, were enjoying the whole night. Hiring MC/DJ Siamak (Sam) for our wedding was one of the smartest things we did. We had a 300 person Persian-Canadian wedding and Siamak made sure folks were dancing the entire night. Je was responsive to my 1000 requests, and made sure all went according to plan. He played every song I had requested, made sure he responded to the mood of thr crowd and provided a great balance between English and Persian music. He even went above and beyond and helped us create mash up song for a group dance we were doing. The dance floor qas packed from the monute we walked in until the very last song at 1am. He was attentive and respected the various requests that I had. We all know that the DJ makes or breaks a wedding, and Siamak made sure our wedding was a night to remember for all of our guests. He was professional, able to properly speak in both Farsi and English and he was fun! He came with a DJ assistant which allowrd him to keep the crowd pumped while making sure the DJ was working on the song line-up. I've got to 3 weddings this past year and they all had Siamak and we partied all night! He is the best mix of modern and traditional and perfectly suited to warm up a party of any size.
